I've got a couple of dozen, some vintage and custom shop Strats, Tele's, LP's, Martin, Collings, etc. They really are a pain in the ass to store. I'd sell off most of them but I don't feel like dealing with buyers, having people come to my house, or shipping them. Values are also in the tank for a lot of this stuff and I'd rather look at them than sell them at a loss. I talk to a lot of guys like me with a lot of guitars and they're kind of in the same boat, since most guitar players/collectors are now 40-60 years old and aren't buying anything.

What's your longterm plan for that collection?

I just wish I played as good as my collection would have one believe.

Golf, more playing it rather than buying lots of equipment. I have a fair number of pocketable edged devices and always look for more. Some very nice hobbies you folks have, very interesting.

Cheers, Tim

Beautiful muskie, Ruddiger. For 26 years I lived on an awesome muskie lake and spent a lot of time fishing for them. One good follow will keep you fishing for another three hours. A friend caught a 54” fish 100 feet from my dock.

I enjoy riding my motorcycle, those items we cannot talk about here that go boom and have recently discovered those other devices we don't discuss with sharp edges. Detailing my motorcycle (old picture from previous garage) and an inexpensive little weekend car are like therapy for me. My garage is my happy place.

Thanks. My garage is for cars and hobby stuff. Rest of the house is for wife to do to with as she pleases. We've got what is basically another garage attached to the house by a breezeway for storing all the other accoutrements of life.

Howdy,

Thanks so much, and you are so right about the follows keeping you going between endless hours of no success.

Interestingly, my personal best muskie (54 1/2 inches) was caught not too far from you on Cass lake in 2006. Since then I have spent most of my time on Lake of the Woods, although the muskie in the picture came this October from Lake Nipissing.

Take care,

Ruddiger

I love quarter-sawn (Tiger Oak) vintage bookcases...

...and filling them with vintage books....

...and reading the books...

And vintage Rosaries...

....and praying the Rosaries...

These two are WW2 (Pull-Chain) Rosaries. Issued to soldiers, designed to be sturdy, yet quiet, while being handled in foxholes.

...and this one, for the...

...obligatory lume shot!!! ;)

Conservative interpretations reflect that it shouldn’t be worn as an adornment. But many do.

Some do wear them as an expression of faith - or you’ll see them hanging on car rear view mirrors.

In history, monks and nuns are often depicted with a rosary hanging from their cinctures. In that vein it was more utilitarian because they used the rosary several times per day.

Howdy,

Absolutely!!! And a classy guy to boot. I took my daughter to meet him and the other Kardiac Kids at an autograph signing a few years ago and he was incredibly gracious and accommodating. Exactly what you would hope for.

Take care,

I won't mention red right 88!!! After he retired he moved to San Diego I believe. He's an architect and actually designed the old Timberfire restaurant in Bainbridge. Bumped into Bob Golic at the IX Center once, and Eddie Johnson at McDonalds. A friend of a friend is married to Reggie Langhorne. Was at an Emerald Society meeting and spent some time with Brian Brennan. I was wearing a Browns jacket with leather sleeves, he autographed the coat for me!!
