Great news...here’s to a healthy recovery!
Curious - did they make you take off your nipple rings for the surgery?

No, but they did a lot of shaving.

Excellent prognosis! Yes, God's plumbing miracle wants a bit of upkeep from time to time. Glad you had the right people available to make it happen.

I learned my lesson TODAY. Reusing single-use water bottles - A couple were three months old and kept because they were sturdy and fit the cup holders

Gastroenteritis. So carefully avoided by a clean sparse diet. So the bottles went into recycling, my Nalgene is soaking in hot soapy water with a splash of bleach, and I've filled a brand new Nalgene bottle for today's errands.

For minor consideration I can come be your personal dietary chef after release from hospital. But you will throw pots and pans at me in no time. For you - Oatmeal, grits, hummus, fruit, raw veggies, no butter, bread & cheese in moderation . . .

When you can start?

I can’t thank you all enough for the kind thoughts and well wishes. I think I started this thread more as a positive psychological outlet for me in the hospital then anything else, but the over-whelming response is truly heart warming. (well, except for Jocke of course ). I don’t think I could be doing much better then I am four days out from a major surgery, pain is still a challenge, but as long as everything is “working” I’ll deal with managing it. Just looking on to getting a little better each day. Thanks again everyone
