First Weekend with my New 15500 black!!

Last month, the watch gods had blessed me with an opportunity to purchase this piece in black or grey dial. I chose blacked and these are my pics lol.
I got the watch the same day i had a vacation scheduled for tokyo and macau. When the watch was delivered, i took a few pictures with my good friend (his AD hook) and placed it back in the box to patiently wait. It was a special moment!!

Onward to Tokyo, Japan. My plan was to arrive in tokyo and go straight to boutique in Ginza for resizing:

AP tech that helped me lol. Filled out a form and took him 30 minutes to take 2 links. No charge. He looks like he is enjoying my non japanese speaking company lmao

I'm bubbling with joy and excitement. So happy to unwrap this piece and finally fitted on my wrist. What a beautiful movement.

Look at this tapesseriesrrfdttry dial and so clean. How the light bounces off every different angle. Is it grey is it black? Who cares, all i know is its beautiful

Looking around and (trying to) chat it up with the staff, this was in the glass case, anyone looking to cop the Concept?? Its here for purchase!

Looking at my new watch is like looking at different pretty girls from different angles. Just rocking my shit in the streets of ogikubo, japan

This is how i feel about about stress, and problems, and everything else when i wear this watch. Nothing but good vibes

Do we have time to make the train?

Bling bling on the JR Line

After a long bullet train ride to Osaka then to Kyoto, i suited up for my boy's wedding. Gotta visit the temples in osaka. Look at how the colors bounce off the outer bezel and the hour markers. Sick.

Notice how the bracelet and case seem to change into gunmetal here. AP watches possess the most stunning colors IMO. I'm so fucking fresh right here:

Goodnight, my new AP. Also knows as INDIGLO, for all my OGs

Now flying into Macao. Boutiques here in macao??!! Wait is this an actual LIST!!?? a REAL WAITING LIST WITH PAPER AND INK?!! How long is this list??!!

Any big time baccaratt players on this board? LOL. Just appreciating the AP bracelet at the tables. Could this be the most underrated part of AP if this was even possible? If i were to compare, the AP bracelet is more similar to rolex jubillee than oyster steel. All so very nice in their own right

Enjoying life and shit at the galaxy. Heck no, the new piece did not come out in this sun and water. Gonna give my new new a break. Gotta take good care right?

This pic came out kinda blurry. I might have been drunk

One last wrist pic just because

And back home after a long, adventurous journey with my new watch. A new travel case and good doggy waiting for me at home. Ruff

My unique and super clean collection, in a Rapport box, which i hope to grow nicely

This purchase was very memorable and i'm so glad to have shared it with many friends in different moments. Thanks for looking at my post and pics of my arm and feet

Congrats and you have real enthusiasm for your watch, a bit too much at times for a family forum, but we'll let that pass. Saw Skyfall yesterday and Bond would have looked better with that on than the Omega when he went to Macao.

Hi Teflonchest, any particular reasons you chose black over grey? I'm actually leaning towards the grey. Would like to hear your views and how comfortable is the watch.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your feedback. If you don't have chance to see the different colors in person, go with your initial gut feeling-it is what speaks to you. For me, a couple reasons i chose black:

1. It's relatively low key. For my first AP, black to me is more classy and understated. It's not in your face sparkly look at me now, but makes me to do a double-take and stare. I appreciate the contrast to the stainless steel and when i focus on this, its like a window to the endless night sky

2. I have a diamond/chrome/grey jubillee dial datejust, so another silver/grey piece in my modest collection would be too similar. Money buys choices right? In this case i now have two very different choices that evoke two different feelings

Comfort: conclusion is the watch is very freaking comfortable lol

Hope this helps! I don't think you can go wrong as AP will not produce a color that isn't short of spectacular.
