What are your concerns?

That watch was the one that got away for me. I was in New Zealand in 2003 when an AD made me an offer at 15% off list. He said it didn’t sell because it was not “All Black”.

My wife at the time said she would be incredibly pissed if I bought it, eventhough we could afford it, so I passed.

Should have left her in Christchurch instead.

Pretty much my favourite Rolex ever, congratulations! Given the stickers you have two options. Either peel them off and wear it or leave them on and store it. No wrong answer so suit yourself. Enjoy!

I guess it depends on how much you paid for it whether or not I would take the stickers off.

I have that exact watch and everything on yours looks great, and as it should. MK 1 dial, etc. Just sent mine in for service because I wear the hell out of it. Please rip those stickers off of that beautiful watch and wear it like Rolex intended!

This will answer any question you have about the Kermit and what version you have etc. Enjoy it, and congrats!

Also, my advice if you are worried about anything is to send it in for service one day and you will get paperwork back matching the watch and serial number and what amounts to a new set of papers.

No worries. It’s great. I love it. Trust the seller one million percent so have 0 issues or concerns. Take a guess on price.

Oooooff. That’s a tough On ! Rip off the stickers. Yikes, but I def hear you. I’ve turned Down lots of watches if they gonna be in the safe. Typically wouldn’t even look at it. So far have only one with stickers that I haven’t worn and that’s an omega tintin and I this one will be joining it for now at least in the safe.

I'm guessing 18K with no papers. Stickered versions are 30K + right now ask with papers. Non stickered but great shape versions are 22-24K with papers. Tough to guess really because I have never seen stickered without papers. Rare combo.

I think I’d pop off the bracelet and see if the serial number is correct for the insert. But other than that, it looks like a perfect example. Enjoy!

First thing I did when I got mine was take it to my AD and have them check the numbers. They pulled out some book and were able to tell me year of manufacture as well. Highly recommend checking the numbers.

Third option, linked to second option of safe queen.
Leave stickers on, wear incredibly rarely and keep as safe queen.

That watch seems a bit shifty to me no papers flat 4..
I Would not be surprised if it's a made up..flat 4. Or worse still ...

There is too many questions with that watch ..
I would have had it checked out with a fine tooth comb before buying it

As mentioned this is the first fully stickered watch ever sold without papers !!! That's alarm bells alone..
And the absence of ticks ...more bells and some whistles

Not a mark 1 as it doesn’t have the 5 ticks at 6 o’clock, though Fat 4, hmmmm....
I would check the serial numbers, is it early F or late F?
LV’s are easy to Franken, I would go to the AD to make sure,
NOS and hang tags included but no paper seem a bit odd to me.
The AD would clarify it all.
Good luck.

Hi guys. Here are some more pics for content see if it changes any minds.

Also a bit of history on the sale. Seller didn’t have the option to sell the watch. It was essentially seized with the rest of his property/assets and put up for sale against his will.

Early F. F00
I think this is mark 2 which is fat 4 with 3 ticks but I could be wrong. That’s from a quick online search.

Just what I was thinking. Maybe the papers were sold separately? Sounds a bit dodgy at some level. Watch looks great though. Congrats and enjoy. Take the stickers off and get it wet!

It appears you have a nice example of the LV sub with:

Flat 4 bezel insert, non-serif, also categorized as a B2 bezel (was hard to tell from your photos of your bezel insert if it is serif or not, but I believe it is not).

MK3 dial with oval O and R in Oyster sits under the right foot of R in Rolex, narrow Swiss Made with 5 shortened minute markers, 3 of which are underneath Swiss Made (also known as 3 ticks), dial also categorized as a D2 dial.

Based on the above these watches have been known to fall within the Y94 - F54 serial # range. Keep in mind these are estimated serial # ranges based on the characteristics above as Rolex has several dial and bezel variations and basically will use whatever part is at the top of the parts bin when it comes time to assemble the watch so some overlap with bezel and dial variations may exist.

You can take your watch to any Rolex Service Center and ask them to check it. They will run the serial number to see if it was born as an LV. They will issue you a receipt with serial # and watch description.
