Ladies Aqua Terra for Wife: 30 vs. 34mm?
I want to get my wife a new Aqua Terra with the 8520 movement (SS with white dial). She has pretty slender wrists, but I don't really know the size. I'm leading toward the 34mm size, but there is also a 30mm size. Is 34mm going to stand the test of time or is that slightly bigger size going to be considered a fad in the future? As it is these are still fairly thick watches. Any input would be appreciated.

FWIW, my wife has tried these on and was debating between the 34mm and 38.5mm.
I would say the 38.5mm is more of the "fashion watch" look and perhaps a fad. She ended up liking the 34mm the best although we haven't purchased one yet. The 30mm wasn't even in real consideration. It was just too small for her tastes. |

I bought my wife a 36mm Seamaster and she is absolutely over the top with it. The watch suits her just fine and she has very slender wrists as well. Best thing to do is to take her to the jeweler store and try both sizes. If that is not possible, I would without any hesitation go for the 34mm, 30mm is just too small (even with skinny wrists).
