Question
Hello,
I am a new member. I am looking to buy a pre-owned Rolex; tried to post in the "Looking to Buy" sub-forum for some advice/ recommendation, but was given a notification that I do not have permission to post. Any ideas? Help? Thanks! |

Hi edwardlaw77 - I'm new today, as well, attempting the same thing! I found the info in the WTB sticky post re: becoming a pledge member (happy to do) but found it frustrating that you have to make 15 posts in order to look for something to buy from someone? Seems odd - I don't really have much knowledge, I guess I can make 15 generic "looks great!" posts to qualify?
I'm just trying to replace an heirloom which my husband had stolen in his 20s (1970's/80's era Datejust with leather strap) for a reasonable price, he is turning 40 this year. I guess you just have to check the classifieds on here everyday???? I wanted to go this route, as the forum obviously is filled with knowledgable individuals, rather than blindly online shop.
