The second one (the RO) is quite interesting.
I like how they used varying colors on the sub
dial hands.

If I ever do get another AP it will be a RO.

Thanks for sharing!

What name (excuse) did they use for the RO?

That is my favorite part of the dial as well a long with that creamy nougat colored dial

The model is Sachin Tendulkar (famous cricket player) limited to 150 pcs with ref. 26161ORD088CR01

Ahhh 150 pieces, so of course will throw it WAY
out of the budget since people collect these LE's
like they are rarer than diamonds.

:( Oh well....

only thing that annoys me is that AP churns out so many LE of the ROO every year. it defeats the purpose IMHO. Nice watches all the same. especially that forged Carbon peice in pic one.

Thanks for sharing & although they're all way outa my league anyway.... I actually prefer some of the 'standard' AP's that I see on the forum.

Btw - what did the GP feel like?

I almost paid up for one over the Bee, but somehow managed to put the brakes on.

Must admit, I was also concerned over potential vulnerabilities of the skinny forged carbon elements. What do you reckon?

I like the ROC, but that ROO is just hideous, it looks like they've added pieces to an old model, not very appealing compared to the standard ROO's which are much nicer.

I'm glad you chose the Bumblebee not a big fan of the GP, don't get me wrong it is a beast but not for me.

and i don't like the elements on the 9 a clock side at all super thin carbon and feels like it's gonna crack just looking at it

See, you look at the older/normal ROO's and the ROO diver and they look well made and quality, they have had some thought on design and i would love one of those.

You then look at these grand prix and newer LE's and they just look badly thought out and designed, the one at the top is a prime example, a carbon case with what appears to be components slapped onto the side, to someone looking it just appears to be a last minute design, as if they couldn't quite work it with carbon, so went for something else and it is just a horrendous mishmash of a watch, especially when you look at how far the dials are now thrown over to the left, again all symmetry is lost and AP really need to start getting back to basics, for a range that is their best sellers, they don't appear to be spending a lot on it, with a movement that has a chrono module on it and a case design that now appears to be getting modifications thrown on it i guess they are falling into the trap of 'if we make it, it'll sell'
