Fierce hunting dog

We've had a lot of snow so we took the dawg out hunting.

At first I was going to ask why you had a big red bullseye on your dog, but now I see it is a frisbee. It sure looks cold to me. Don't even try to tell me you like the cold and snow. Also, I can now see your avatar.

Well, that certainly looks like fun.........not. I do like your part of the country in the summer but you can have those winters.

Last weekend's storm was a pain. Two separate 5" layers. First you shovel 5", go to bed and then realize another 5" has fallen when you get up. Before the storm we had frigid/Arctic temperatures. After the snow things look beautiful and the dog loves it. We need to hose her down in the tub to get the ice balls out of her hair. The sidewalks after bad clean up jobs get pretty treacherous so you need to be alert. By mid March we are tired of the cold and ice, but then we have Spring and it is beautiful here
I imagine that we will eventually move somewhere more temperate, at least for the worst of winter and summer humidity.

By the way, the frisbee is amazing and travels quite a distance.

That's because it's not a frisbee - it's way better! I can't remember what it was called but we used to play with them at university and you could throw one the length of a football field. The thing flies level so it's hard to see when it's coming at you though.

Aerobie
I threw one in the Syracuse University Carrier Dome while visiting my brother at college back in the 80's. No wind, flew perfect.

Thank you Jeannie. She is a super athletic critter. She was a rescue dog. My wife has trained her as a therapy dog and she goes to 'work' twice a week.

Your right. It's called an Aerobie. The ROLEX of flying toys....... It was apparently thrown for a world record distance. A lot of fun with or without a dog.

I assume you are talking about my Avatar [On vacation at the moment.] It is a NASA image of a solar flare. If you figure the Sun's diameter at 865,000 miles, then the flare is about a......260,000 mile protrusion! Greater than the earth-moon distance.
