If its near the museum and its a branded hotel (as it looks quite large) then hopefully you can go on your own and also see the museum.I doubt AP sponsored events can fill that year round. If you can just book it and don't have to play the networking and the who you know game it could be really good.

I could be wrong but as it stands currently i don't think the museum is open to the public and its only invitation only? It that correct?

The old AP hotel was next door to the other AP buildings and the museum is another building or two along. The new hotel is replacing the old one.

The ski down route is a pretty neat design concept...with an invite from AP I would go. For a skiing trip, definitely some other places would take first pick
