Quest for a BLNR

I bought a beautiful 116613LB new from my local AD in in the UK in 2014. It has been used almost everyday but is in very fine condition (no dings or scratches just usual wear). However, I think I would generally be more comfortable in an all stainless steel model which is a little more understated and am looking out for a new GMT master ll 116710 BLNR which retails at £6550.

I should add that I am not really a multiple watch kind of guy so I do not think I would get enough use out of two Rolex.

What sort of trade in deal do you think would be fair for me and the AD when they get a BLNR in stock?

You'll most likely get a better price for your TT sub from a grey market dealer or specialist retailer than an AD.

Do you have any local to you?

ps - I can pretty much guarantee someone will post "speak to a trusted seller on here", not appreciating that is not an option for those of us based in the UK

I would keep the 116613, however if you have made your mind i would be looking for £1500-£2000 back with that trade. I don't think you will get that though at AD most offer very bad trade ins and at AD wouldnt be surprised if they offered anywhere between £500-£1000 for you in return

I'm possibly looking for the exact opposite trade. I have a BLNR that I've kinda fallen out of love with (I just prefer the Sub) and looking at a SubLV or Bluesy. I'll message you privately.

£1500-2000 back? Even £500-1000? I don't think it will be anywhere even close.

In my experience ADs offer terrible trade in prices, even on SS. A few years ago I was offered £3k for a SubC.

I'd say he would be offered £5k for a TT Sub. Even a grey I don't see offering much more than £5.5-6k as TT aren't desired stock.

I hope I'm wrong but I think you'll have to pay towards the trade.
