How does this 15400 fit me?

I finally found an AD that allowed me to take some pics. Please disregard the pink gold and dial color, this is only for sizing considerations.

How do you think the 15400 fits on my wrist?

And for comparison purposes, here is a 15450 on me.

I think they both fit. But, like me, the dial looks so much larger on the 15400 that it dwarfs your wrist. I prefer the 15450 over it.

15400 touch too big. 15450 about right.

What size is your wrist? My wrist is just under 6.5”. More rounded than flat and the 15450 fits me just right.

I think my wrist is a solid 7. I forget....looking for a tape measure...

Here is a different angle.

I agree with npalacio that the dial on the 15400 looks so much larger that it dwarfs your wrist, even at the different angle.

What dial color are you after?

I'm way, way more partial to the smaller dial on you!

Either seems fine, but seeing as you’re asking for opinions – I’d lean more in favour of the 15400 for your wrist shape.
You haven’t told us which one you felt more comfortable with.

Prefer the 450 on you. Also you had ADs tell you that you could not take pics???

Yes! Well, technically a boutique. “I can’t allow any photography”. Lol

I just measured my wrist and it was a bit under 7 inches. Sad. Lol

I think these pictures are slightly misleading. I think from more of a distance the 15400 wouldn’t look so big. I’m 6 feet 183 with relatively broad shoulders. Im starting to come to the conclusion I just have smaller wrists compared to my frame. Slightly disproportionate to the rest of my body.

Also, I believe the 15450 would be too dainty. Especially the bracelet which is very tapered when it gets to the clasp.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. Appreciated.

Might just be me but I don’t think the 15400 looks too big on you. If I was in your shoes I’d take the 15400 vs. 15450.

My previous 15400 on my 6.5” wrist look almost like your case. Not much overhang for my case so it’s still acceptable to me.

An AP boutique recently told me I can’t take pictures. That was a first. Do they think that I am going to go home with the picture and make my own AP.

I think your wrist looks fine with the 15400 and its on the border of both 15400 and 15450. Looks like it's coming down to personal preference on this one. For what it's worth, my vote is with the 15400

I was just told the same at an LV store.

I laughed and said I’m not actually but was about 5 mins ago! Security guy was very nice about it but it was an odd exchange. How the hell was I suppose to show my buddy this pair of sneakers he should buy otherwise?

Which one? The NYC one has let me take pictures the multiple times I’ve been there.

They both work for you. I'd say it just depends on how you like your watches to wear. I prefer them on the smaller side and would go for the 15450, but the 15400 works just as well albeit on the larger side of the scale.

In my opinion the 15400 looks perfect and the 15450 definitely looks too small.

That’s really aggravating

Taking wrist shots is one of the things I enjoy about going to the AP boutique

From the wrist shots, the 15400 looks ok, though slightly on the large size and the 15450 looks too small - and, looking at the wrist alone, it would seem that the 15202 would be perfect.

BUT, I’d expect that a full torso shot would show the 15400 as absolutely fine, the 15202 as a touch small and the 15450 as minuscule. I’m a touch taller and, ahem, heavier with a 7” wrist and find the 15400 to be the perfect RO size for me

I’d take the 15202 or 15400 - 15450 is a ladies watch by today’s standards

The AP boutique I went to (a factory boutique) encourages photo taking.. but said if I want to take pic of the movement side, they need to cover up the serial #. (Which I understand)

But wrist shots? No problem at all.

Don't be disappointed because your wrist is under 7". My wrist is not over 7" and I wear a 44mm, granted the surface area from my flat wrists. Youll be fine with a 15400. Besides, that is a pretty close up shot and it does not look oversized on you. Hop on it!

You can pull both off without a problem. I think the 15400 looks fine and would opt for the larger watch. With most APs you can always get away wearing it slightly larger imo.

I'd go for the 400. You can definitely pull it off.
