A. H. Riise in St. Thomas is terrific. Here in New Jersey Leonardo Jewelers in Red Bank is absolutely fantastic. I have purchased several watches from them. I bought the Daytona in St. Thomas because they could not come close to the price.

Just back from AD in Minneapolis (literally). He encourages me to stop by to have a look. Showed my the black SS Daytona, Sea Dweller, JJ's favorite Yachtmaster, the old Explorer (to compare to my 214270), and a couple os Subs. No pressure. Gave me a free battery and tuned up my quartz "dress" watch. Talked a little baseball while we are at it. Very satisfied. Oh, and Explorer II's 42mm are two months out, fyi. Spent about 90 minutes. For what it's worth.

It really depends on where you go. I really like my AD. I bought 2 watches from them and recommended my coworker to give'em a try.

I still don't get (and have not for the past 20 years) why anyone would pay 20% +/- more for the identical watch and warranty you can get on the grey market BNIB (papers and all) just to say you got it at AD. No one knows where you got your Rolex--so I say save the money!

My AD here in ohio is top notch. My salesman is very patient and has a non pressure approach. He will show you anything and if you dont buy, thats fine too. Everytime I stop buy just to browse, they offer a cold drink or soda and tell me have a seat one of the comfortable chairs. TOP NOTCH all the way.......

Yes, I bought several watches from them. Just bought my wife a new TT DJ ..I even traded in a 14060 and got top dollor for it....

Do you have idea how much the new EXPII will be? I went to my local AD in Akron. They even did not know there is a new 42mm EXPII coming out. I was disappointed.

I bought a GMT 2 C from Bucherer in Frankfurt and they were professional. The branch at the Kaiserstrasse was quite busy when I walked in and the staff were professional. Lots of tourists tend to walk in and as a observation they were accomodating to everyone.

We have it nice here, we have the only (Rolex sponsored) Watchmaking school left in the USA right here in St. Paul, MN. With that, the instructors/master watchmakers work at Wixon in Bloomington. They're the best AD I've ever been to, possibly the best customer service I've experienced....which is getting rare these days...sadly.

Can't remember where I saw it, but think it's priced at 7800 USD, 100 below the GMT. That doesn't make much sense as the rotating ceramic bezel on the GMT probably cost more than the 100 diffference to manufacture. Might be because the EXPII has a new movement. Otherwise, complications are the same,

I purchased my wife's DJ from an AD in Michigan. Very professional, quick service, and nice after the sale.

I bought my own Pepsi GMT on the forum, mostly because you can't just walk into a dealer and buy one. The AD down here in Durham, NC is very pleasant, and they always complement my Pepsi when I walk in. I haven't purchased any watches from them, but I did buy a ring, and they were great.
