Looking for OEM straps

Good Evening.

I am looking for a place online that sells OEM straps for Omega. I talked to my AD and everything seems to be back ordered.

I have the new Seamaster 300M with the steel bezel. The strap that I am after is the blue leather one with butterfly like clasp that comes on the Aqua-Terra.

Thanks in advance.

I think Omega's information systems often report items as backordered, but then the items arrive very quickly anyhow. I have experienced this first-hand.

I recommend placing the order with which ever Omega-authorized source you prefer, even if they say it's backordered, and then see what happens. I'll bet you have your strap and deployant clasp in a week.

The best place to buy Omega straps is either the Boutiques or the on-line store. The prices will make your eyes water though. I do have to say that the quality is high and if you decide to sell them later you can get most of your money back. Look on the Omega site and pick the watch you own and they have a cool option that allows you to choose the NATO to match it.

Does it have to be new?

How would you rate the quality of the OEM Omega rubber vs the higher-end aftermarket sellers like Rubber B and Everest?

I have only bought the NATO's and leather straps from Omega never a rubber strap. I do own straps from Everest and Rubber B that I purchased through my AD and they are great. It is typically not the straps from Omega that get you, unless alligator, it is the addition of the hardware that pushes the price up. I do not believe you would have a problem with a quality rubber strap from Rubber B or Everest.

So I ordered one at my AD here in FL back In November. The buckle has been on back order...even to this day.

Wife and I went to Zurich for New Years and I stopped by the Omega Boutique and got one same day.

Any pics of the strap as I wouldn't mind adding another to mine. I like you, got it with the metal bracelet but also the rubber strap. I was wondering if your leather strap has a curved top like the OEM rubber one?

I had the same issue with a brown leather strap for my sapphire sandwich- was on back-order. I placed the order with my AD & had the strap in 2 1/2 weeks. Apparently the deployant clasps can be tougher to get (depends upon exact model)- I had asked at that time, but didn't order one.

I think it really makes a difference if you have an AD who is willing to make a couple of quick phone calls for you instead of just putting the order in the computer.
