Both :)

Though to be fair, the SkyD blue is a truly modern and very innovative movement that every Rolex collector should have imho.

I have owned multiples of both in most metals. At msrp the Daytona-C SS. At Grey prices then the Sky-Dweller. The Daytona-C is a little small for my tastes but could like it for msrp.

Interesting question, as those are two very different watches. I personally went for the Daytona, as I love the contrasting white dial/black bezel and how it feels on the wrist.

I would love to see the Blue Sky D and the white Daytona side by side . Your choice would be a whole lot easier

Sky-Dweller. Daytona is very, very cool but SD would be so much more useful (to me)

I’d choose the SkyD. I’ve already had a white dial ceramic Daytona and flipped it for the WG model. I also like the idea of the multiple complications and the beautiful blue dial on the SkyD.

Also search for "Hulk" in the same search tool - the sub LV comes up.

Doesn't mean Sub LV is technically/formally known as "hulk".

They just use a certain search algorithm (which includes colloquial terms) to perform searches.

It is widely known/accepted amongst the Rolex 'scholars' that the dial configuration you find in 116500LN white does not constitute a "panda" dial.

I know 20 was a typo but it did conjure up an image of a really thin dude. I'm surprised the Daytona wasn't too large as well.

If I were only able to have one of the two watches you mentioned, I'd keep my stainless steel Sky-Dweller. Legibility between the two watches is about the same, honestly. I just think the Sky-Dweller has tremendous wrist presence for a stainless steel watch.

Love the innovation of the Sky Dweller, but I find the watch to be odd looking and bloated. Would much prefer a DJ41 with fluted bezel and jubilee.

Daytona for me but if I had a chance to get a blue dial Sky Dweller I would. It’s a good looking watch to.

If a Skydweller fits properly on your wrist, then you probably won't like a Daytona in any configuration, because it is a small watch.

It’s sits like a dinner plate on my wrist
The dial is a complete mess (off center second time zone + cyclops = messy)
I know what “month” it is and don’t need an annual calendar
If there was no Rolex name on the watch most people wouldn’t give it a second thought (I know I don’t)

Just tried this to see if it Applied to other models, (Hulk, Batman, and Superman) They are all recognized, and you are presented with that specific model.

Guess Rolex likes nicknames too.

Actually the SkyD's practical features are date, time, and being an annual calendar. Unless you're on a tropical desert island the month readout is only for setting the calendar correctly. I found not wearing the SkyD as an only watch made it quite impractical because it always had to be reset-up when it came round in rotation.

I can understand how date, and GMT are important; an annual calendar is a neat complication but unless one needs an annual it really just a GMT. I think the chrono is a more complicated watch, fwiw.
