So let me get this right, your looking for a Pepsi, you get a green sub, and a watch for your wife and somehow as customers we are supposed to be content with this kind of bait and switch. I would have said look pal, Pepsi and watch for my wife or no deal. You could pick up the DJ for your wife at any AD.

Like I said in another thread is all bullshit games these days. All about making $$$
Spot on. So many are drawn into the games these AD's play, so much so they feel like they have won the lottery when they've really just been conned!

Congrats! Been there several times, back in 2017 I tried on a 116719....wish I would have bought it. I was there last year 2019 and they had nothing and the SA wasn’t interested in talking about anything...

They said it’s usually a 13-15k bundle watch.

Very nice!

Unsurprising, however. Tourneau has readily accessible steel pieces they keep hidden and use as bargaining chips--in this case, for a DJ bundle.

A little disappointing to hear though... I've been to that AD a few times and they assured me they keep nothing in the back; that everything went straight into the display cases. I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I also don't like the idea of being straight out lied to by someone I would hope to give my money to. Probably naive. All sorts of business professionals lie to you. It's too bad that the state of the market these days places the AD's in the position of being able to do this and still have people lining up for to spend their money there.

Congrats on the hulk!

I agree with you. I've been straight out lied to by Tourneau (see my previous thread). And one of Tourneau's senior sales reps also assured me that everything goes "straight" to the case and they keep nothing in the back (false)--weeks after they said this, I called the manager asking for something specific and they said that all they had was [insert popular SS piece]. Of course, If I had walked into that store at that moment there would be no SS pieces in the display.

Great pickup! I'm normally not a fan of package deals, but the one you did seems awesome!

She must have been in the other location but she did tip me off to a shipment they were expecting early in the week.

The hulk was delivered to the store yesterday. We were just in the right place at the right time.

Jeweler_in_paradise (Instagram) and Dean helped us out.

Do you have a picture of the DJ 36? Unless I have bad reading comprehension and missed it.
