Getting a Rolex Catalog?

I've seen at some AD's they have the Rolex product catalogs sitting out on tables, or sometimes on a "rack". Are they for sale? Do they give them to their favorite customers? Just grab one and walk out with it??? You can order the Omega product catalog from the website for gratis and get it in the mail, but not on the Rolex website.

Just curious. I keep meaning to ask when I go into the AD, but then get distracted by trying on all those SS models that I forget to ask. (that was a joke, btw). Would be fun to have one for "late night reading"...

I got a 2019 hardcover catalog just by asking. You should not be charged.

Was given them before by both my AD and others. I think it is more a nice gesture than anything, but nowadays tough to say how easy to get.

You should be able to walk in and get one from any AD. I don’t think there are waiting lists for this. Yet.

every time i walk in to my AD and they have a new catalog, the sales associate tells me to take one home. I have purchased two watches with them last year.

I’m on the waitlist for the catalog at my AD. I’m number 5 per my SA.

They're tightly allocated. They won't know how many they get until they come in, so they can't give you a timeline for when your name will come up.

I had to buy $200K in jewelry to get my catalog. Seemed like a steal.

As others have stated, they are free for the taking. BTW, if you just want it for "late night reading," you can read the same information in the Rolex website.

I emailed a AD but can't remember from which store to ask about the DJ41 and they asked me if I wanted a catalog. I got it a few days after and I've never purchase from a AD before, nice of them. I did go to Govberg to get my watch sized and they had then on the counter. I didn't ask because I already had one.

Behind you on the list. I'm number 6. Do you think could we get them this year?

I was in Rolex AD in Vegas in Dec, and asked if they have a particular Rolex model. They told me they only have Rolex catalog available. They offered me take 2. I declined.

You have to buy 4 catalogs before you're put on the waitlist for the new one.

All, I can remember when you could walk into an AD and just see catalogs sitting there. AD's couldn't even give them away. Of course, Rolex produces so many they'll never be "rare," just good luck getting one, especially if you're not in the US

They had them on the table at GWC in Vancouver when I was there. Probably the nicest AD I have ever been to. Not impolite to ask for one

Same here and I don’t even own a Rolex yet. They also threw in two other Rolex books because they know I’m now addicted.

My AD has plenty of those catalogs anyone can obtain a copy if one choose to, it's just the annual calendars that only available near the fall.

They are free. Have the 2018-2019 and the 2019-2020 from AD just ask them for it most of time they are happy to give them away

I was in an AD in the SE US this week and was offered one while browsing. I ended up picking up a new piece while there, but that was after I was offered catalog. They also had a SS SD in stock. I called yesterday and it was still there. I should have bought both I guess.
