Would you get rid of this for that?

Funny how things can influence you...

Posted a pic of my Rolex / Tudor collection earlier while also searching for the right Rolex for my brother at the same time.

This is a scary combination of things because 1.) I've never been fond of the Datejust Wimbledon until I found it for him via the pic below and 2.) the picture I took of my collection makes me think that 3 sport models on oyster are too much for me (Possibly!! I do like variety in my collection), even if they are pretty different.

So, the ask here is do you I get rid of the Snowflake for a Datejust Wimbledon?

Here's the Rolex / Tudor collection again, a pic of my Snowflake and a pic (not mine) of the Wimbledon.

No I would not. I think the snowflake is super cool. Your collection is well balanced and I wouldn't change a thing.

No I would not.
Tudor sub is much more special as it is not being manufactured any longer (if it is a thing of any importance)

I think I just stepped into some bizarre parallel universe.

If I back out of this thread, hopefully things will be normal.

Nope, I wouldn't make that mistake... I mean trade.

Good luck!

I would not move anything in your current collection to get the datejust, even though Wimbledon datejust is beautiful.

No I would not make that trade. As others have said your collection is near perfect as is IMO.

No way. That snowflake is very nice. The DJ would hardly get wrist time over the DD in my opinion.

I wouldn't do that. The Tudor is an awesome watch.

I'd dump the blackbay first. So chunky.

I would trade if it was me. I like the DJ wimbledon dial on jubilee way more.

I would do it. Mix it up a bit from sports models.

The Tudor Sub is an excellent watch and as stated before not in production so I would keep it and not make the trade.

I honestly think you'd be right back in the same situation ... the DJ would feel redundant vs the DD IMO.

I love the snowflake. If anything I'd maybe move the 58

I'll bite...you do have quite a few sports models, and you seem to like to match your outfits to the watch if my impressions are correct.

You have a dressier piece in the DD...but it's rose/brown, which I think might limit where/what you'd wear it with. The neutral wimbledon might add some variety in a dressier sports watch piece, one where the snowflake/pepsi, to me anyway, might seem redundant.

Does that make sense? I'd entertain the idea.

If you didnt already have your RG DD, which is absolutely beautiful by the way, I would say yes being you have the Hulk. However since you do I would say absolutely not. I think of the Wimbledon DJ as a somewhat dress watch and you already have that category annihilated with the DD.

Personally no. I get the Oyster overload. But I wouldn't wear the DJ if I had that day-date.
