Hulk on leather or canvas strap

I know the majority will say that a diver should be on a bracelet. Especially 116 or 114 series.

I own a 116610LV and must say it’s a keeper. I swim with it but even if I know it would resist kitesurfing easily, I don’t want to wear it while kiting (don’t want to lose it).

I’m planning to change my actual kite watch Tag Aquaracer calibre 5 for a 124060. I will use this Sub for all my water activities.

Since I will have 2 Submariner, I would like to change the look of my LV and try a leather or canvas strap. Rockmastermike posted some pics with beautiful Diaboliq straps. I will probably order one but i’m not sure what color or texture would match with my Hulk. I wouldn’t go for a green strap…

Does anyone tried a Hulk on a strap? I would appreciate if you could post a photo if you have one! Thanks!

One day I will post a picture wearing my Sub 124060 instead of this Tag…

I don’t know about LV but LN looks fantastic in leather.

It doesn’t look bad on canvas, but I personally don’t think that the watches character suits the leather variants

Thanks. I already liked the look on leather! Your pic confirms it!

I would like to find the right color that pairs well with the green of Hulk… (but not a green strap…)

I like the leather but the gaps look horrible….I wonder if anybody makes one that is rounded and fits the case

I think the second 2 brown ones look pretty darn good…..the first one is a little weird how it surrounds the lugs

Rubber would like way better than leather IMO. Some rubber options will even let you integrate the Glidelock.

Hulk on leather or canvas strap

God, no. Think on the bracelet or not at all on this model which is why you never really see it. Others look fake at best. IMO of course.

I like Rockmastermike Diaboliq canvas strap a lot. A canvas strap was my first idea.

Modern Rolex is so odd when it comes to leather, rubber or fabric straps. Is the hate due to the bracelet being so great, the cases being a bit too slab sided or Rolex not making alternative straps? I think it is all three but I bet if Rolex offered more options like Tudor the tune would change. Just look at Oysterfelx.

Hulk on leather or canvas strap

I prefer the normal rubber straps on mine outside of the fantastic oyster bracelet. Having said that, going further outside the box is this rubber alligator textured strap from Rubber B (stock photo - I don’t own it).

No no no please no. Please just buy a sport watch on a strap, don't do that to your hulk!

Thanks for your comments. I will think about this change of look.

Anyway if I decide to do it, I will wait for my 124060 (should take several months…). I will live with my 2 Subs and see if I find this too redundant.

If I choose to try a strap on my Hulk, I will probably opt for a Diaboliq canvas (lined with leather on the inside). And of course this is not a permanent change… Worst case scenario, if I don’t like the new look, I lose the price of a canvas strap. Not so bad since I paid MSRP for my Hulk…

I like this rubber B. Definitely nice to add in a rubber strap to change it up sometimes. I do the same with my BLNR and BLRO.

Go with leather. Canvas cheapens the look for me. Get a distressed leather with great stitching accents and ignore all the nay sayers. You’ll enjoy it for about a month or so and then swap back to the bracelet then you’ll br craving the leather again.

I support this brand a lot due to their customer service and of course leather products. I have 5 of their straps and 2 watch cases.

Colareb

Enjoy finding your perfect strap and post pics when you do.

Not seeing anything remotely appealing in this thread. Stick with the bracelet, unless you have a four or five-digit model.
