Repair of my Rolex 116600 Sea Dweller

My 2013 Rolex Deep Sea Dweller is leaking water and must have the escape valve replaced. I'm told by several excellent watchmakers that this repair can only be done by the Rolex Service Center.

Does anyone have another recommendation?

Thanks,

Terry Sheehan

If it is in fact "leaking", you must have it looked at immediately. As in yesterday!!
Especially if you have sea water inside.

Rolex service centre will be your best bet for repair, but any independant service provider with a Rolex parts account will be fine. However, Rolex themselves will be the only option to have the DeepSea tested to its dial depth rating.....

Most important, have it serviced pronto!!

Thanks

The watch has been serviced and is in good shape, I just don't get it wet! Thanks for the advice. Terry

How have you had it confirmed the HEV is at fault?

? HEV is leaking and then you stated the watch 'has been serviced'.....I'm confused.

I can say that if it indeed was serviced recently, I would return it to the place that did the work and tell them to correct the leak. Like Rob said, Rolex is the only entity who can pressure test the DSSD to depth.

So is it a Dssd or SdC? 116600 is the SdC no?

Interested to know how it was determined that the hev is the cause.
