This watch is close to perfection. Big Congrts!! The oysterflex, does not have a WG bracelet, thus it does not really worth the $$.

Plus a white gold Bezel is surely worth more than a ceramic Bezel??

AFAIK, you cannot get that blue dial on a oysterflex WG watch. Besides, I agree nothing beats a PM watch with full PM bracelet.

He was generalising. No you can’t get this in OF. I don’t think a black bezel would look good with this blue dial anyway.

Congrats, that's a beautiful watch.

For me, as much as I love it, PM is way heavier for me. had 2, weight killed it for me.

Looks awesome! This is my favorite Daytona! If you asked me to choose between precious metal vs. ceramic bezel, I'd take the pm bezel any day.

The weight makes it for me, the SS feels light after wearing WG.

Each to their own

Great looking watch. I’ve always liked the white gold Daytona dials. I agree there are great deals out there.

What happened to your Arabic Panda? That’s my favourite dial of all time?

My first time seeing this metal and dial color combo. I love it. Now I may want one. Congrats and wear it in good health!

Be sure to post some pics on a sunny day. I want to see the blue dial pop against the WG

That's the nice thing with that watch, compared to the WG sub. The blue is not flashy..

While I'm not sure I agree 100% with the rationale/justification ;-), I do think that is a fantastic reference. Congrats!

Congratulations Gary, lovely watch!

BUT, the fact that you’ve had 7 stainless steel Daytona’s and 3 white gold tells me you’re still not 100% sure and this doesn’t end here. My prediction? You’re a panda guy and will go back eventually!

Thanks. Regarding the Daytona, do you not agree that the full gold (and 116509 in particular as it is similar in colour/stealth to SS and platinum) is where the best value for money is?
