THIS JUST IN......Dinosaurs Had Lips.

Not sure if you need to make any adjustments to your day or to your nightmares but apparently dinosaurs had lips.

So after years of misleading information from Spielberg and others, THE FLINTSTONES WERE RIGHT!!!

Carry on.........

This is a fascinating topic that's sort of taken over in the "what do we know and what might we learn" paleontology circles in recent years (a place once occupied by "which dinosaurs had feathers" that's generally settled these days.)

A friend of mine works in paleo-recreation studies (he's mentioned in one of the footnotes in that science.org article!) and he likes to remind me that it takes a loooonnngg time to go from Maybe to Probably to Almost Definitely. When he wrote his paper, he and his colleagues seemed to be knee-deep in Maybe territory, but now (ten years later) it sounds like we're swimming around in Probably waters.

Alas, for all the speculative research done by Hana Barbara, I don't think we'll ever find evidence that cavemen used apatosaurs were for quarry excavation.

So you're saying the people behind this article are just paying "lip service"?

Yes, because Chewbacca is not uber, but amazon-meta-apple wealthy. Or at least he was as wealthy before he became rich at the age of 3.14
