Yes, I've stopped posting incomings. It has gotten me a talking from one of my ADs who have told me they have gotten people trying to drop my name, or angrily calling them why I got the watch before they did.

Also, in a case a more than 2 years ago, a member here did see I had posted a watch for sale a few months after I posted the incoming, and they complained to the AD.

That’s awful. See, you just don’t know who is looking.. between that and ‘just as well I’m not a burglar’ messages, I will think twice about what I post now.

Of course not. People would think I was a lunatic if they saw the revolving door that is my watchbox and I generally don’t care to announce an incoming.

Salespeople will see your incoming etc there’s nothing to gain.

I remember that loser. There’s a guy here who openly states he looks to narc on people who sell Pateks because he thinks it’s a zero sum game. Some people try their best to end up in a ditch.

I only post on the appropriate forum, i.e. Omegas go over there, Rolex here. Anything else, I don't bother.

It’s a matter of choice. You post your incomings or not, the forum keeps going and many others will probably post as well

I have for Rolex on here but not for my Tudors - perhaps I should have shared the joy.
