Ummmm... is this right? I'm no expert but that bracelet looks wrong and overall the watch looks odd. Are the hands on Platinum DD's really made from plat?

Don't know , I can't see anything wrong with bracelet nor clasp . Markings are correct .
Most similar masterpieces I have seen have baguette diamond dial and not brilliants , so the aftermarket bezel is quite possible . |

You are correct about the box and papers, makes you wonder if this seller also uses canned pics. You figure at this price (near $40K), he would get that right!

I don't like the engraving work on the bracelet; "Rolex" doesn't look right and the St. Bernard, scales hallmarks are not clear and sharp. The only thing that is sharp is the PT850 the rest looks like it was added later. As stated there should be baguettes at 6 and 9 I also have my doubts about the bezel; Rolex shows baguettes on a factory bezel. The seller has no papers and the watch is preowned.
Only Rolex USA can authenticate a diamond dial Rolex I would look long and hard at this one. |
