Not a vintage GMT (or gilt rail dial) expert, and I could be wrong, but I'd say refinished or outright fake.
* The printing/font looks too thick/bold. * The crown looks "off" to me, even for that vintage. * The tritium patina/shrinkage looks way too uniform. One other issue that I am less certain of, but still concerning: * The GMT hand pointer extends past the chapter ring on most of the ones I've seen of that vintage. Not sure if that should be the case here. |

Looks redone, hands are off colour too
I thought the letters on dial were all silver gilt? these are gold

Ther was all gold lettering on some dials. The hands are definitely relumed that I know. Just never came across this particular dial that is why I asked. If it is redone, it was agoof job, especially the regulaeity of the lume.
