If this is legit, then someone in WA can score on a Daytona

NIB $9.5K?

you have to wonder about anyone listing a bnib with the plastic still on at anything less than the grey market dealers are currently offering, which right now is $10,900 for that watch.

why wouldnt they just ship it to one of them for an extra grand? somethings wrong here...

Well some people don't know about the grey dealers and stuff. He could have bought it before the increase and been told by the salesman that it was worth $10K. Maybe he doesn't know about the price increase and thinks he is getting great money for his watch.

Just playing a little devil's advocate.

Also, isn't BB the one that engraves your name on the back? If so, that might lower the value a bit.

you are probably right about the grey dealer knowledge....i have even seen people on this forum lowball offers on bnib watches hoping the seller didnt know any better (and I KNOW the lowballers knew better....probably just trying a little watch arbitrage/figuring they could make the spread for themselves.)

He did buy it before the increase so he might think 9.5K is a good price to ask. Just looking to make a quick 1,600. I'm gonna check it out cuz he's only 20 minutes drive from me. Chances are the back is engraved but I'll find out over the phone before I meet the guy. If it is, no deal for me!

Thanks for the heads up applebook!

Hey, Felly, even if it is engraved, you might still want to consider it. Get a clear back for it, and then maybe try and source a used back. They can't cost more than $1,500!
