A little skeptical!
So I've been looking for an Avenger Blackbird 44, and received a reply from a member of the Breitling Source with regards to a seller he'd done business with in the past, who had one for sale. The member who contacted me just joined, right before he contacted me, so that is my first point of question. Second point of skepticism is the fact that the owner of the watch responded very quickly and was awfully fair in his price and willingness to ship the watch, with very little question as to my "New Member" status on TBS, as well. I've attached a couple of photos, and would love to lean on our members' expertise, if I may. I'm certainly no expert (on anything, really,) but am definitely new to Breitling, in general. Thanks in advance, guys, and your help is truly appreciated. Please see attached:

No Breitling expert but the quality of the case back and bezel engravings look high quality to me.
Date font looks Swiss rather than Chinese to me too. Always buyer beware! |

Ha, just realized why the watch looks so authentic. Because it is!!! It sold on this forum, a few weeks ago! The second photo was lifted off of a TRF member's "For Sale" posting. I'm such an idiot!

Google Image Search is your best friend... Part of a quick check is to save the images your are being shown and upload to a google image search. Google will pull up all images of the watch that match or are close. I found the link to the one that sold above this way. |
