more my OCD than anything else, but i prefer the double-stick indice at the 12, rather than the AP logo. as well as the color-matched date wheel.
i think the dial looks cleaner this way.

Yeah those are huge selling points for me as well.

I think it is equally difficult to find either in mint condition. You will pay a premium for the 15202 over the 15300 of ~3-8k. The market for 15202 is sort of in flux right now.

Don't be locked into getting a blue dial 15300! Find the best condition, best priced 15300 regardless of dial color APSC in the Canada can swap out the dial for you ~$1,000.

I'm actually not that big a fan of the blue AP used on the 15300 and much prefer the black dial. It can change from deep black to slate grey to even a midnight blue (from the anti-glare coating under the sapphire crystal).

Good luck in your search! These are really getting hard to find in minty condition. PM me if you have any more questions :)
I’m not tied down to the blue dial, but I prefer it over the other dial colors. It has the camelion affect like the Nautial blue dial, which is really cool.

I agree, but my pluses of the 15300 outweigh the cleaner dial of the 15202 in my opinion (larger crown, screwdown crown quick set date and seconds hand). But what do I know. I’m new to the AP RO game

x2. Id pay a premium for the jumbo. Also, the "automatic" on the 15400/15300's bug me a bit. I'd rather have a big AP in its spot

AP RO 15300 thoughts and query...

can’t recall when i got this picture from last time....

personally, i still prefer the 15300 for many reasons:
thicker case
seconds hand, gives it some ‘life’
easier to read date
quick set date
AP logo at 12 o’clock

Really dislike the color match date wheel on newer 15202 and 15400's as well. Never really noticed it much with my 15400 but the white wheel on my 15300 really pops and I like it.

You can’t go wrong with a white date wheel on the 15300.
