Hi guys,
Ive been offered a slightly used safari and i wonder how its resale value. And yes i like to think of resale value before even buy it because i hate when i take hit on watches . Would like to know from previous owners/ delaers how it sells for ?? I ve been offered USD 13600

Can't speak for the Safari, but I can speak for another popular model of the same line; the Panda ROO. I've had seen a jeweler friend sell it for $12,400 , mint complete set with full SS bracelet, and he told me was almost at his cost. It was sitting in his showcase for over a year with an asking price of 14,000 and he just wanted to get rid of it being it was a 'soft market for the offshores'. I would assume he probably purchased it for around $12,000 or less.

I would throw him an offer of 12,000 and work way up to no more than 12750.

Price seems fair,.. And bezel looks sharp except for left bottom flank looks polished.

Contact a trusted seller here & ask them what they'd pay for an H series safari (complete). I'm guessing the offers would be in the $10-11k range.

No but at least i can pay up to 12500 but more than that i think i will lose alot when selling again in the future

Sounds fair, may be a tough sell though since the newer 42 can be had for $16k-ish, and the even newer ceramic 42 is coming out.

I have a box and paper AP ROO Panda on a bracelet for 14.5K which i think is the correct price on my particular piece. So $13,600 is considered a low price and would hope on that if you like the watch.
