This is what you chose for your first post? Welcome and all, but you easily could have added this to the prediction thread already in existence.

Not so much a prediction for me. But a wishlist.

36mm Daydate gets ceramic inserts.
36mm Daydate gets deconstructed romans for dial options.
All sports models get a glide lock.
Explorer 2 goes back to 40mm.
35 to 37mm sports models for ladies with smaller wrists.
Oysterflex straps available for SS models.
38mm datejust.

One can dream.

Doesn't sound logical to me, sorry.

It would be cool to see a new blueberry GMT with new movement and tapered lugs in Platinum. Not that I can afford it but still cool to see IMO.

My Basel wish: more inventory of what they already make.

Oh, and a matte dial 36mm Explorer I.

I suck at guessing at Basel predictions, I have never even been close to correct on Basel guesses. So here it goes.

Hulk Sub retired

GMT II solid black bezel retired (Batman only)

SS Daytona to have a ceramic bezel

Various Peal Master dials retired

Strap additions to precious metals models only.

No new model additions to the line.

Doesn’t the SS Daytona already have a ceramic bezel?

Is this a “what NOT to expect from Basel 2018” thread?

Ceramic bezel on the Explorer II would be a pleasant addition. I think it would do very well and isn't too extreme of an update for Rolex. I'm sure the black ceramic bezel on the polar model would bring in a lot of new fans...in particular I am thinking of all the people waiting for the Daytona white dial who are more in love with the color combo and "clean" look rather than the actual chronograph features.

Changing the Sub to 43 mm would be like changing the 911 to a sedan. It ain't gonna happen IMO.

Also, doubt they remove the cyclops from the SD. It was only omitted in the past because adhesives were not tolerant of its depth rating. They've since improved the technology and thus, I think it's here to stay.

This may be the funniest thread I have read in some time. Not sure it is intentionally funny, but it is to me

I agree. Daytona look at 42mm. That would have to be put on my list.
