Breitling For Bentley

I was invited to a Breitling and Bentley event were the St Louis Bentley dealership and the St Louis Breitling AD are going to show off the new models of both watches and cars. That made me curious as to the opinion of Breitling For Bentley brand.

I've seen some unfavorable comments on the forum about the Breitling for Bentleys. However, I noticed the preowned prices for them are pretty attractive, especially for the stainless steel complications.

So the question is, are the Breitling for Bentleys looked down on from a collector stand point?

Crap! I was afraid of that. My $5k great deal has turned into a $265k expensive deal.

The new models with the partial skeleton dial are hideous.

I was able to try on several tonight at the event. The B05 Unitime was pretty awsome live. Unfortunately, the watches we upstaged by the 'unveiling' of the new Bentley Flying Spur.

I was close to purchasing a Breitling Bentley from Warren Brazina, a frequent poster in the TRF for sale section. Has has a couple of BNIB models with the platinum bezel at really good pricing with 60% discounts on them. This sort of tells you how the market has received them. You'll take a max hit if you plan to flip one, so I would buy to keep.

I liked them better 10 years ago, with some age I know prefer smaller watches.

Dont think they are doing any worse than other Breitrlings on the secondary market. The Flying B totally nose dived. Otherwise, think you can get great deals on the pre-owned out there. How did the new B05 look live?

Nice first post and bye troll.

Hate it when they sneak back in but at least they always give it away.

Haha.. you'd think he'd change his name up a bit more and not list the Patek as his watch.

As far as the Bentley is concerned, they are not as well received, by Breitling fans, as some of the more classic models. One of the reasons, I was told, is that they don't have he same history.

I have 2, the Motors T and the Mark VI, both are well made and are beautiful.
As far as resale, if you buy preowned, or at a substantial discount then you should be okay.

I wish I would have taken a few pictures. From the pictures it looks very busy. But live the see through gives it more of a 3-D effect. Unfortunately, I didn't see them wound. Another thing I was concerned with was the 49mm, but its amazing how much smaller it looked on my wrist. I did try on a rose gold 06 with a diamond bezel...now that looked HUGE!
