I am really really excited to see what they give us - they have the potential to be the stars of Basel 2019.

I was always a Seiko admirer. Was a Rolex fan until the 6 digits and just couldn’t fall in love again. Went to Tudor. Looks like at 7 I am don’t with them now too after their showing. Go Seiko!!!!!

Yeah this can really be Seiko’s year. At this point I think my favorite launch has been Heuer’s Autavia line, so the bar for Seiko isn’t too high. It seems like the press is just waiting for someone to steal the show. Might as well be Grand Seiko!

With all the disappointing news to date and the Swatch Group holding their own separate event, this is a huge opportunity for Grand Seiko and Seiko to steal the limelight and own Baselworld 2019!

SD GMT in Ti looks great!
But wonder why they only managed to get 100M WR out of that case?

Pretty underwhelmed. Huge clunky sports watches. Rather boring time only dress watches. All beautiful, just nothing that stands out or sings to me.

I would jump all over that platinum Snowflake, if I were a $78k watch buying kind of guy. Just a bit outside of my price range.....by tens of thousands of dollars.

Not the first manually wound GS Spring Drive?

PR on the rear, which a manual wind version permits...

Isn't the 8-day spring drive manual wound?

The LX range of spring drive Seiko models are $5,000 - $6,000 which is pretty steep.

The SLA033 has left me a little underwhelmed and I will reserve judgment until I see it in the flesh, but at US$4,250 I'm not feeling the love. The maxi hour markers are fine but those thin stick hands and narrow lugs with a 19mm strap given a 45mm wide case seems out of whack to me.
