Which SS Submariner Ceramic model is the best and why?
Out of the 3 SS SubC's which one do you think is the best and why? For me personally, I would have to go with the Black Sub Date the 116610LN. The black SubC Date is the one watch that can do it all and it's one of the most iconic Rolex models. I've tried the 114060 and 116610LV in the past but neither felt like the 116610LN. 114060 was nice but it was a little too simple for me and I actually missed having the cyclops. The LV was definitely a fun watch but sometimes I was not feeling the green and it was harder to wear with certain outfits. The 116610LN is the most versatile watch I own, I've worn it dressed up and dressed down. The only downside is that it's literally everywhere, I'd say 2 out of 3 people I've seen with a Rolex were wearing a black Sub Date. But besides that, I think it's the best all around SS sports model Rolex makes currently.

Sub 114060 is iconic. Go that route. That said, each of mine are much older.

It is black date, classic. I am of the opinion that any watch must have a date complication, this model is still not too far beyond retail and accessible,

I think best may be too subjective - as they all equally good (aside from date complication) from a functional perspective.
It then just comes down to if that feature is desired or not by the wearer and the colour. For me - black dial, no date is my personal preference. But more because I’m not a big fan of the cyclops, rather than a date complication not being useful.

I like ‘em all, but I went with the SubC Date. I have several dateless watches so I wanted a date on my Sub. I’m also fond of the cyclops.

Sub - no date - no shiny ceramic (beurk)
Why would anyone use the date ... every 2 month you have a pb to manage ... the only thing with Rolex and the date is (except SDs) the cyclope ... Anyway just my opinion My pref goes to 5512/13 |

The 116610LV “hulk” is so special! Nothing compares to it. Of course all subs are classic beauties but that green monster is absolutely stunning!

LN for a "one and only". LV if you're looking for some variety in your collection.

No date SubC for its uncluttered simplicity & versitilty. Although I would love to add the Hulk to my collection!

The LV just makes the Sub more special and has one of the best looking dials.

114060!
the original sub was without a date + the date makes it less beautiful. |
