White gold sub still a smurf dial?
I was just poking around the Rolex website and the pictures of the white gold sub look like a sunburst dial, not the smurf

This is a good question. Renders aside I don’t think the production model has ever changed. Or perhaps this is a very recent (and unpublicized) update made to make some differentiation between a to-be-released ss blue sub. (Ibtl)

I noticed that too. On the Rolex site, it looks like a much darker, richer shade of blue. Actually, it looks stunning...

Same dial. Just different lighting and graphic image adjustment. In darker
lighting, the 116619 can appear darker. But mine has never looked that dark.
