Should I trade DD36 for Zenith Daytona?

I have a great condition full set WG DD36 Silver dial with factory diamond markers and was thinking of trading it for a TT or full YG Zenith Daytona. I don't wear the DD since it feels a bit small (but hefty due to PM) compared to my other watches (39-41mm). Thoughts?

If you can trade for a 18k 4030 Daytona then I would do that trade.

Sounds like a solid trade. Interested to see what you get on your trade-in

If you don’t wear it than trade it towards something you will. I would get the PM Zenith Daytona.

So I estimate the DD is worth $17K - $18K and the TT's range from $12K - $16K. PM's in high $20's / low $30's. Am I thinking about this right?

Also any issues on this movement and servicing it?

That’s a beautiful piece. Any chance of flipping it for a PM modern Daytona?

Thanks! That's why I struggle with this. Love the watch and in great condition, but a touch too small for a bigger guy.

Not for a TT but definitely more than a fair trade for a Solid Gold Zenith, providing its in the same great condition as your DD. Bottom line, make sure you like the Zenith more than you like the DD

Not a chance. The WG DD is one of the coolest Rolex ever. I would never trade a WG DD for a Daytona. Then again I don’t care for the Daytona at all.

Have you ever tried on that specific model Daytona? The Daytona has a thick bezel and the dial is small... so the watch may appear just as small on your wrist.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that Daytona dial is within 1-2mm of the DD36 dial. In fact, the crystal size on both may be identical at 30.5mm.

Does your DD have the milled clasp? I would only trade for the full gold. Never for a TT. I’m not a diamond fan but you have a great watch so it’s a hard call. The DD is under the radar in WG has the BEST bracelet and I love a watch with a day and a date. The Daytona is cool and is one of the best looking watches ever designed but no date. If you do it the Daytona better be in great shape.

I’d do it. If this was a DD40, absolutely no way no how.

Since you say it feels too small on you, I think you have your answer.
I also tried a DD36 and it just never felt right on me, so I was never totally happy.
