New Omega
Can someone help me date this Seamaster and perhaps give a reference number.

It looks like a 165.009 but the hands don’t look right.
If you unscrewed the case back it should have the model number on the inside. |

I don't think that it's that reference, though because the numerals and indices don't match, although, it's close. I'll have the back removed and take a look.

Clean look! Not too loud but it'll catch any watch enthusiasts eye!

Here’s why I thought it might be that reference. There’s a ton of variants of 60’s Seamasters, though.

It might be a 165.001.

I also agree that the one's that match most closely have DeVille on the dial. I am quite sure that this is not a redial, though.

The movement comes out from the top. I'll have to verify that advice, though.

Be careful with old front loaders. I have an old Omega DeVille Seamaster from ‘67 I think. It’s easy to snap off the metal shelf inside the case that holds it all together. If you do that then Omega won’t service it and you’ll have to find a private laser welder to restore. A bit of superglue is keeping mine intact atm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
