INCOMING!!!!! My first Rolex!

First off, I just want to thank everyone here. I've been a lurker for years just reading and absorbing as much knowledge as possible eager to learn about the in's and out's of the Rolex market and buying process given the shortage of most models. I'm by no means new to watches as I've had a passion for basically my whole life that was passed on and groomed by my dad and uncle.

After owning Omega's, Breitling, and some economical brands such as Seiko, it was the right time for me purchase my first Rolex. I went to my local AD this past Saturday and had a good chat with the SA. I let her know that I was looking for a sports model but wasn't naive and asking for a Daytona or Sky-Dweller.

She took my information down and a few different models I was really interested in. Exactly 4 days later she called me and told me she had a couple of different models we discussed for me to look at! I made an appointment and tomorrow at lunch time I should be purchasing my first ever Rolex which I plan on keeping forever. I'll definitely post pictures when I can.

I was in your shoes just months ago. What a nice feeling is collection day.
We can’t wait to see your first wrist shot.

Thanks everyone, I can’t even go to sleep thinking about what I’ll be coming home with. I’m sure whatever I do choose will end up being the right choice!

What were your 4 choices? If one was the SS SD43 get it and run. I just picked up a Hulk from the AD. Good luck.

Good luck, having a choice is sometimes difficult, got my first last week was offered a Sky Dweller or 116613LB Bluesy, luckily (as it was cheaper) I preferred the Bluesy as always been a sports/diver as my preference.

The first purchase seems to be the hardest especially when there are options to pick from.
Well, I hope you get just the right one, then again I personally think there's no wrong choice with Rolex.

I hope it a reference you really want, and not just buying a watch, because it’s a Rolex.
