Canada has some strict driving laws and I've been lucky that I've never been caught. I've gone 225 KPH in a 110 KPH up there before.

Earlier this week, I got pulled over for going 40 or over in a 30 MPH. The cop pulled up beside me and rolled down his window and asked if I knew what the speed limit was for that area. I said 35 MPH and he told me 30 MPH. He gave me a warning. My radar detector went off so it was a visual speed check.

At that speed, it doesn't matter how many wheels you have. The pressure of the air on the sides of the bike keeps it pointed straight ahead.

The worst speeding ticket I got was in 2007 when I had a 2005 Altima 3.5SE, 81 in a 55 on I-78 in PA. The cop wrote it out as a 75 in a 55 so the fine was less and no points on my NJ license. However unlike the USA in mother Russia if a cop pulls you over for any violation just slip him about 600 Rubles and he will let you go(Do not try this if your not a native). This was of course in 2001 and with the economic boom in Russia the bribes have become much higher and sometimes not accepted in large cities.
