Actually, a friend is borrowing the Fulcrums and I'm using his Zipps. But they are very sweet wheels. I'd like to pick up a set of 404s at some point

They look hot. Have no experience of them though. What they like for strength? That's what worries me... Easy to damage for daily riding? What about hills ?

Florida has... no hills, so I can't tell you much there. They're plenty strong (but I'm fairly light too). He's used them as daily wheels for a while, and had no problems with them at all. He's putting them back on for Ironman in November as well.

Good to know.

No hills hey... Maniacs here spend all their time searching for them. That's why I sneak out on my own when I can!

Although I love the whistle my carbones make when they pick up speed. Annoys the heck out of friends I ride with :)

Wow, I haven't been on a bike since I was a teenager....or maybe before that!!!

Very cool bikes you guy/gals have! My dad used to be very much a cyclist back in South Africa....has had tons of racing bikes including his precious Colnago which he still has (doesn't ride anymore). To give you an idea of how much he's treasured this one, when we immigrated to the states, he purchased an airline ticket JUST FOR THE BIKE!!!!!!

Karis, my husband's just getting back into cycling after laying off for several years. His last bike was a Colnago found at a pawn shop - and sold for $75. Clearly the shop had no idea what they had. It had old Campagnolo components - Record, maybe? He doesn't ride it anymore, though, because he got a Cervelo like Jen's last year. Ironic! You guys have a good
taste in bikes.

You got it straight, Paul. And I will continue forever and ever, to point out the extreme ancientness of the old codger. It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it!

LMAO!!! My head is swimming with Mr. Twentyquestions!!!

I will only answer the last question: NO. The rest, I haven't even gotten to, considering the recent activities here on TRF. So... why did you miss your morning walk, old timer? You DO have an alarm clock, right? Ohhhh, I forgot. Back when you were young, people used to hit each other over the head with rocks to wake them up. How forgetful of me...
