Tudor BB Diving/Chrono - thoughts?

This watch has it all:
  • Chronograph function
  • Diving Capability
  • Date + Red Lettering
  • Snowflake hand
  • No crown guards

I like it on the leather strap as well. Tudor is the risk taker for sure and it is paying off nicely.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are this watch is perfect for someone who needs a chronograph diver without the need to trust the chrono as you can't see the sud dials anyway.

It's a very expensive fashion watch. Think Michael Koors but Swiss.

I want to see it in the flesh it's priced at £3430 in the UK and my 15 year wait for a Daytona C is putting me off that one, not to mention i will most likely be dead by the time it comes in. As I only use a chronograph for timing eggs or seeing how long I can hold my breath for the snowflake hand covering the sub dial is not a problem.
It has a certain ugly charm

Get the THC. Real heritage DNA plus a timezone bezel, 150m DR and better looks.

Tudor BB Diving/Chrono - thoughts?

Why is anyone calling this a divers watch? There is no diving function to it. It has a leather strap. The bezel is to measure speed.
It's not a diving watch. Please stop calling it that!

Overall, This is a very poorly designed watch.

That moment when your hour hand covers the whole sub dial...

I like it and it is on my list as the next Tudor I purchase. I like the riveted band and I will also buy the OEM leather. Great value and look for what it is. A Daytona, no, but a very cool watch.

To my eyes it looks like a poor knockoff of a Speedmaster co-axial.

I hear a lot of negative thoughts about this watch. Something about it speaks to me. I'm not a fan of the snowflake hand but I kinda like the watch.

I personally love the snowflake hands for night time viewing. I believe they are becoming a symbol for the Tudor line. I also think it's BS about not being able to read the subdials. This I suspect is being posted by a conspiracy of those who are anxious to topple the Tudor line and wouldn't like snowflake hands on anything.

...OK the conspiracy part is BS but I meant the rest of what I wrote.

Like the dial but was put off by its ETA modular movement which makes the watch too thick. If Tudor could put its in-house movement into this one and make it thinner then I seriously consider having one.

The Monte Carlo is leagues above it but I really don't get all the hate it's gotten around here. I mean sure, the snowflakes obstruct the subdials but that's probably my only real complaint about the watch. Go for it if you like it.
