Lots of comparisons between the 15500 and the 15510 dials. However, we know this is another “50th anniversary” watch. So the new watch will have a 50th rotor, albeit in white gold. I suspect the new watch will be a hit, since the 3-handed is a closer lineage to the original.
That being said, in terms of the movement, I’ve always preferred the gold color rotor over the matching case color, which just looks like steel on steel to the naked eye |

it's not even WG, if I recall correctly. It's RG that's rhodium plated. I have the same preference. |

Did the date window move out further to the edge on the 15510?

No, and you can check that for yourself by counting the small squares.
The hands are also the same size, they look longer, the date looks further to the edge because they moved the minute markers more inside on the dial. Lastly the hour markers are longer and make the dial look smaller. Hence the feel the date is more outward. Direct comparison makes it easier to see:

The longer hour batons remind me of the 15400. Love it.

may I ask what's the point of these marginal changes ? I guess it's better and looks like it has less empty space but still

No price increase, same as 15500. They just wanted to make the 15500 owners feel special, that's all

Seems like the changes are from a branding perspective, to bring consistency across the line-up (i.e. to bring the design language and aesthetics of the 41mm 3-hand line into alignment with that of the new chronos and the 15550).
That said, while I feel the removal of the AP logo on the chronos works as the dials are more visually complex, I also would’ve preferred if it stayed on the dial on the 3-hand models. |

Price is the same.
In addition to the obvious changes on the dial, the 15510 is also thinner (like the 15550 is thinner than the 15450), has subtle changes to the case chamfers and the tapered (in thickness) bracelet. The changes all go in the direction described by FHB and others earlier this year and are implemented across the lineup, with a more consistent language across the different lines and more differentiation of the Jumbo. All makes sense. |

Agreed, it all makes complete sense from a brand consistency point. |

I like 15500 the most for the look.

I may be in the minority, but I lean a little to the 15500. I like the minute marker track and the thicker, less rapidly tapered bracelet. I also like the heft of the slightly thicker case. All of these features make the watch more sporty, which I think distinguishes it as a sport/dress vs dress watch (ie 16202). Of course I prefer the presence of the AP logo and the contrasting, rose gold rotor too. On the other hand, I do like the longer baton markers on the 15510. The chamfered case/bracelet, I can take or leave. While both are stunning, keeping score in my book, I see the 15500 as the winner.

Both are spectacular watches! I was not an AP guy until I fell in love with one last year on 47th St. and bought a white 15500. This will most likely be my only AP (pricey hobby) but I will schedule a boutique visit on my next New York City trip.
Good pricing strategy with no price increase in the anniversary 15510. I would expect a price increase on the 15510 in 2023 when the 15510 50th anniversary and the 15500 are no longer available. |

So the new watch is not thinner, but actually thicker, while the bracelet is thinner.
honestly, i know that the 3D letters of "Audemars Piguet" is more work than the writing +block letters of AP. But the new design at many angles is hard to read the name. |

Have the dial colors for this new iteration been confirmed anywhere?
From the working links in the OP’s post, there is a white and ruthenium/grey dial. And another poster shared pics of a blue dial. So there must be a black dial included. I just wonder if any new colors may be introduced in this 41mm reference i.e. green, baby blue, etc. |

pretty sure there's no baby blue. It's supposed to follow the same colors as the chrono 41mm |
