Timex

Hi I am considering buying a timex watch, do u recommend a certain type of model to be the best one? The only
model I know is the timex weekender, which I think is good enough but I wanted the TRF peeps' opinion. Or do somebody really recommend a Timex piece, if not, can u recommend a piece on that price range? Thanks!

Icon6 Keeps a licking and keeps on ticking

Check out the collaborations with designer Todd Snyder.

Prices vary depending on quartz or automatic movement but figure $75.00 to $500.00 range.

I bought this last week from the Timex website. It was $35 and comes with a faux leather band. I replaced the leather band with a NATO. I bought this for times when I’m changing oil on the cars, working in the yard, etc etc.

I have the Todd Snyder Military which I’m wearing today on a Haveston canvas strap. It’s an excellent knock around watch for about $100

I'd vote Ironman. I got this watch in the early nineties so I've had it for around 25 years and the strap is still original. This is what I wear to practice sports and at the beach so it's amazing how durable this watch is. On the link here a bit of Timex history. Cheers.
