Cartier Santos Moonphase 119901
What are your thoughts on the Cartier Santos Moonphase 119901 ? I think it’s a great looking watch. Been looking for a Santos and I think this looks elegant plus the Moonphase function gives it that romantic edge. Have never owned a quartz watch but I’m strongly considering this reference to pair with my gold tank.

OP,
You do realize that this is a small watch and is around 24-30mm?? |

I own this particular watch before.. lovely piece!
This is one of those watches that wears much bigger than what it says on the paper. Santos Galbee Moonphases is designed to be a smaller watch (27mmx40mm) because the amazing bracelet is part of the design hence with a smaller case you will see the bracelet from atop angle. (Most of the modern watches the bracelet just drop off the wrist so quickly the bracelet and case do not gel in one piece. The only thing I don’t like is the deployant clasp but considering the age of the piece, it is far better than some others. |

i like it visually, yet small size combined with Quartz mvt make it a no-go. Maybe good for the wife?
