Jaeger-LeCourtre Reverso Accuracy?

I have been recently thinking about getting JLC Reverso Large Small Seconds with manual-winding movement 822/2. When I researched its accuracy, I found it being all over the board ranging from +8 to +30s per day. The +8s/day does not bother me, but I was wondering if any of you guys have tested your JLC Reverso's accuracy. Comments appreciated.

The Reverso is a gorgeous watch and an icon. I wouldn't be too worried about accuracy but +8 sounds more typical of what you should experience.

My wife owns the large duo moon phase. Who cares how accurate it is, it looks great and keeps decent time.

My large duo face is running +5 seconds per day. I'm totally happy with the performance and love the watch.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up buying two, one for me Classic Large Duoface Small Seconds and another one for my wife Classic Medium Duetto. Duetto will be a birthday present. I will post few picks soon, but I always wanted Reverso in my small collection.

That does sound too much if it is a new watch. If it is still doing it after a couple of months I would take it back and ask them to check / regulate it.

I’ve had this exact watch for a little over a year now. It typically runs +4s/day on the wrist, but resting face up it’s probably closer to +10s/day.

Strictly out of curiosity, I wonder why these generally aren’t phenomenal timekeepers.

Don’t expect COSC or < accuracy in your Reverso.... I own the 2016 Tribute Duoface... JLC said the ballpark accuracy is app +/- 10-15 sec in the “wild”... IMO, if you’re expecting COSC or better, buy a METAS watch, Citizen, GS, quartz... etc... now, with the Tudor BB Ceramic “Master Chronometer”... don’t be too harsh on the JLC 854 calibre A2, ok?

Received my JLC burgundy reverso tribute small seconds. Took 56 stem windings until resistance was felt. Set to the second it was minus almost 1 second in 24 hours. Wound 34 times after 24 hours until resistance. I will keep you posted.

I ordered this exact watch from the boutique in London. Was quoted 6-9 month wait time and had to pay 30% downpayment. Is that normal?

Yes. All normal. Mine took 7 months. Remember there is 41 days that the watches are monitored and adjusted if necessary. As of 6:30 EST it is running 1/2 second slow. That’s now 32 hours after initially set to the second and being worn normally and rested at night.

Update: Reverso was rested on face over night. It lost several seconds doing so. I will rest it on the crown next rest. It is running 5 seconds slow after 72 hours or three days.
