Those who bought an Overseas, have you been contacted after a year for a complimentary first year check up/service?

Tested for what? There is a 8 years warranty so can just bring it at any time once the time accuracy is off or any issue.

I use the orbita Sparta on 7 min intervals. It will stop running on the standard 11 min I use for Rolex. Since it is unidirectional you should be able to get away with 600 turns per day one way if in the correct direction.

Do you know if it CW and CCW? I found most VC calibers are CW but I programmed my winder to 600TPD CW and the watch stopped after a day.

Viewed from exhibition caseback the 4500V rotor spins freely CW so it must be wound CCW (viewed from dial) in order to lift it and have it fall against winding tension.

CCW viewed facing dial on winder is your answer

I'd really like to get the white strap for my 4500v, but everytime i inquired about it at the boutique, they told me that it won't be a right fit because the white was made for the ultra thin model. Is that true? How's the fit? At least from the pics, i don't see any issue

You can put rubber white strap for (4500-7900-5500) with fit size

AD told me to set my winder 1200 TPD CW and CCW. I asked if it's to many TPD she said fine. There's no problem since then.

It is okay since I set it to 600TPD CCW as someone here suggested. So it makes sense 1200TPD bidirectional would work. But since the Overseas movement is unidirectional, the extra 600TPD is just “extra”

Members have posted the different reference numbers for both of the white straps available on here, you just need to do a little searching over the last 5 or so pages within this thread.

The Chrono Overseas

I am coming dangerously close to pulling the trigger on a "Reverse Panda" Chrono Overseas and I wanted to ask some owners their thoughts on the thickness of the piece and how it wears? I have a 7.5" wrist so some bigger pieces seem to fit but I don't have anything in my current collection that is as big as the new VC Chrono...so...how does it wear? Do you notice it banging around on your wrist? Anyone have regrets after purchase due to size/thickness? This would be my first VC and I don't have a Chrono in my collection. I am a person that values a date window so the Daytona never did anything for me. I have had several AP Chrono's in both the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore series. I liked the standard RO - never could really get the bracelet to fit the way I liked - I love the idea of the VC and the adjustable bracelet! The RO Offshore 44mm was to big for me...thanks for any help!

I have a RG Chrono Overseas with a 7” wrist. You will have no issue with a 7.5” wrist. It will be thicker than a Daytona at 13.7mm but not overwhelming. Great choice!

I have the reverse Panda on a 7.25 inch wrist (fairly flat). I would say 7.5-8 inch is perfect size for the VCO Chrono depending how round/flat your wrist is. That said, I have come to appreciate lighter smaller watches as well. For example I bought the 41mm Tissot PRX, I love that size, since the watch is light and easier to wear (compared to the Chrono).

The VCO Chrono is a bulky and a bit heavy watch indeed, if you really hate the feeling of a more substantial watch on your wrist you probably should not go for it. I myself love the look of the reverse panda but I have sometimes contemplated to switch to a 4500v since the wearability is better with a slightly smaller watch. It all comes down to what you are used to. But the watch does definitely not feel bulkier than the equivalent AP Chrono.
