Thanks.
I have a 6.5" wrist as well and felt it was too big. Tastes differ though. I think the closest watch in fit is the 41mm RO - if you think that's too big then this will be too.

If I am buying an Overseas Dual Time Zone from Boutique, should I ask for and/or expect a discount?

I don’t think a discount is possible at the boutique. Ask for a free strap

Do you change the straps yourself? Bonus points if your AP came on the bracelet. The idea of removing the bracelet from my 15500 would terrify me.

The Vacheron I came closest to purchasing is the Patrimony Traditionelle. I would especially love the boutique-exclusive version with the textured dial, ref. 82172/000R-9888. Congrats on your purchase of one; I agree it has more character than the (most comparable) Patek 5196.

Thanks. I did not get the boutique exclusive with the guilloche but that is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier though.

I also love this brand and their finishing is right up there with PP and AP! Their dress watches especially the traditionelle line are simply exquisite! My lady like 49mm wrist span rule me out with the overseas 41mm silver dial! Anyone here got a Fifty-6! I actually prefer the dial on this model especially the date window seems to be better proportion! Other then not having the Geneva seal, can’t see any downside with this watch!

Thanks! I will give it a go! I think I might go for the silver dial but they now offer the blue dial on a bracelet! This may be a good daily!

Try to find a 56 Day-Date instead. They often go at very good prices wn hand or grey.

Thanks for your recommendation! I’m rubbish when it comes to negotiating a discount! This will be the first time I’m buying a watch knowing I will lose £ big time when I had the watch on my wrist! Really appreciate what sort of discount one can get with 56 or Overseas from AD! It will be my mon to fri watch and it look discrete enough not to be recognised by unpleasant characters in my city! I did think about the blue dial 37mm Overseas but where they place the second hand is a bit weird like the Pp 5712! Can’t wait to try these watches!

I love my FiftySix DayDate. So be it if it loses value.

Same goes for the traditionnelle :P

I have the 56 day date as well. They can easily be had with 20% discount new so that will significantly soften the blow should you ever wish to sell it down the line. Plus: the case is lovely and the dial work at a very very high level. Geneva Seal case + movement. If there’s a sleeper in the current VC line-up it’s probably this.

The dial and hands on that traditionelle looks stunning! I much prefer this over the Calatrava! Thanks guys for helping! I will post wrist shot when I pull the trigger!

Slowly getting drawn into VC. The fifty six, looks beautiful, and that traditionelle is probably my favourite small seconds dress watch. Tops the ALS version IMHO.

I agree, a 3 handed piece at no more than 40mm would be great.

Does anyone know what the availability on the overseas chrono perpetuals and openworks are? Can they be purchased through ADs or are these vip only?

Which model VC rises to the popularity/desirability of the jumbo or nautilus?

I don’t know of any.

The popular models drive prices. Though VC makes quality watches, they do not have that “got to have it” watch.

The blue overseas 3-hander (4500v).

The 3-hand Overseas, reference 4500v, especially the blue dial.

Long waiting list, see now unavailability. + 40% value in second hand / gray market, in constant and future increments...

Now you know, you're welcome.
