Best Accuracy - Minimum, Optimum or Maximum?
To all you experts out there....simple question!!
At what stage in the main-spring tension of an automatic watch can we obtain the BEST accuracy? 1. At minimum tension? 2. At optimum tension? 3. At maximum tension? Thanks - JJ

Uh, you would think that the optimum tension would be the best by definition.

Optimum tension obviously, this is why automatics are slightly more accurate that manual wind watches. The spring is constantly being tensioned to the optimum tension, obviously.
