Hublot Sapphire..

Hi everyone!

I thinking about adding one to my collection but I worried I might get bored too quickly and get burnt with resales..

Yet I really like the look.. so far, I have only seen the one with black dial ie Magic Sapphire. I am getting the very first edition with silver/white dial.

Love to he hear all your feedbacks! Cheers!

HAGW!

Wish I could offer some alternative advice, but that’ll have to suffice, since it applies equally whether you’re flush with cash or stretching yourself to make it happen.

Buy for as close to 40 as you can, and hopefully (if you do decide to move it on) sell for 35 – but I can’t help wondering if the Spirit version is the more appealing of the two case shapes, even with the higher price point.
My gut reaction is that for as much of an eclectic collection you have, this isn’t the one for you.

45 with transparent case looks too big on most wrists... I will go with Spirit of BB in 42mm... that one fits and looks very good....

Saw the sapphire this afternoon in person.. it is simply DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!

It’s in totally another level of COOL.

Previously I only saw the the red, blue, black, yellow and the white sapphire (thou with black dial) .. All never did it for me. to me they all look gimmicky n toy-ish looking in person.

However, the one i saw this afternoon (this was the first time i came across one with a silver/white dial) is breathtakingly gorgeous! I remember i had the same responses when i saw the Richard Mille RM56-02 that was owned by my friend. This time round i am even more excited because this I can actually afford hahaha..

IMHO.. I think it is a real bargain. Back in 2016 when the watch was just launched, all the limited 500 pieces were quickly sold out! I managed to find a full set unworn piece.

I not yet bought the watch. I want to sleep over it.

Should i be concerned over the expired warranty? It’s a 2016 piece after all. I read the Big Bang Unico movement is fairly robust. This is my first n most probably my will be my one n only Hublot.

I am quite sure I will have a total blast with it strap on my wrist. Yes it is that jaw droppingly cool in person IRL.

Cheers!

Well you’ve certainly changed your tune!
So much for being concerned about becoming bored with it and taking a bath on it when you moved it on.
Hope it makes you euphoric for a long time.

Yes! The watch is amazing IRL! I am too very surprised!

Photos n videos just doesn’t do this piece any justice.

I went to check out the watch with a full mind set with negativity build on my fundamental love for AP and RMs. I always reject Hublot. This however is not your average normal Hublot. This is something else.

kudos to Hublot!

Congrats Jen – you might want to switch to the black strap when you get fed up with the translucent one.
It creates a nice contrast between all the different elements.
