Got the most amazing call!!!

Hello guys. Long time lurker here. I finally got the call and know only you guys will understand. For about 3 years or so I have listed over the BLNR Batman GMT. I even held it in my hands at an AD twice over that time but could never afford it as a broke student. Fast forward to now and they had become impossible to get. 2 months ago I saw an explorer one at the AD and actually ended up loving it and taking it home with me. I emphasized to the AD how badly I wanted a blnr. Imagine the absolute devastation when the Basel news had come out that the BLNR would only be available on the jubilee (I find it very ugly on that bracelet). I had given up hope as most places said they will never see it on the oyster bracelet again

Fast forward to today and I get an unexpected call while at work that the AD got a BLNR on the oyster bracelet and it’s mine if I want it!!! I ran right after work as fast as I could to pick up this beauty.

Edit apparently I don’t have enough posts to post a pic yet

Got the the most amazing call!!!

Hello all long time lurker here. I got the call today and had to share with the only people that would understand. For about 3 years I’ve lusted after the BLNR Batman, I even held it in my hands twice at 2 different ADs but had to pass as I was a broke student. Fast forward to this year with funds available and the watch is impossible to find. I walked into the AD 2 months ago and actually ended up seeing an explorer 1 for the first time, loving it and buying it on the spot. I stressed to the AD how badly I wanted a BLNR.

Fast forward to Basel world and imagine the horror when seeing the news that there will be no more oyster bracelet. I was devastated. Today while at work I get a call from the AD stating they got the watch!! I was in shock and ran over as soon as I was done. I honestly lost hope and never thought I would find this absolute gem. It’s even more glorious in person. I went from no rolexes to 2 in 2 months!

Edit: unfortunately post count is not high enough to post pics

Good for you!!. I am wearing my BLNR I bought at Ben Bridge 12 months ago right now. Thought I was going to sell it when I was offered a BRLO and a white Daytona. Nope. I wear my BLNR more than any of the others. Love it.

Give some consideration to becoming a pledge member here on TRF.

On top of supporting these awesome forums, it also opens up eligibility for some additional special pledges that have lucky drawings for watches.
