I’m sorry that some creep has taken your watch. Hope it finds its way back.

My wife has a Cartier Tank. It vanished off the face of the earth. She filed a claim for insurance.

One afternoon, over two weeks later, I saw something glistening in one of our gardens that has dense ground coverings. I waded in and there was the Tank sitting just off the ground snagged in the ground cover. I fished it out and somehow the clasp failed and it flew off her arm while gardening and flew about 10 feet.

They do come back sometimes.

I purchased a replacement, and though it is not the same one, I know, it did help me cope with the loss.. but I want "mine" back.

I agree that an insurance company can help you replace it, there’s nothing like the one you’ve taken out adventuring. Good luck.

You didn't mention what city it was stolen in. I doubt it would travel far before being fenced..

I about to head to San Diego. Now it’s making me second guess taking one. Was it taken from your home. Or off your wrist like we have been seeing over seas?

Did a group of guys ask you for the time and then snatched it off wrist as you were looking?

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry to hear but I'm glad to hear that you got a replacement!!! Hopefully it will surface. It's also worth keeping an eye on all the online outlets including eBay. If it was stolen in SD there's a good chance it's south of the border now.

I'm interested in a full(ish) story about the theft. I hope the universe/police bring(s) it back to you. I'm very sentimental about some things & can only imagine the heartache you're experiencing right now.

Do any of you guys keep you watches in a safe? I just purchased my first two luxury time pieces and just have them in my watch box. I feel like I'm being naive not securing them better

Someone stole it off your wrist? Please tell us more so we can be careful in a similar situation.
