Plenty of all of you must work in big corporations/ law firms etc and 100 percent PP cares enough to give statements and be reassuring to customers ( just like any other big company) but I’m also 99 percent sure nothing is really done unless an AD forces their hand by selling directly out the back door. Can’t believe people here believe that this billion dollar corporation is acting like it’s owned by 3 people in the Swiss alps and all they care about are WIS...

Given that most of my purchases have been out of Singapore over the years, I asked my dealer there whether there was any easing up on purchases, given the coronavirus and trade wars having an impact.

I was told SS PP pieces must be bundled with a Calatrava or perpetual calendar.

Regarding Rolex, she has to provide to senior management the prior 2y Rolex purchase history before approval of any SS professional piece.

Open to anybody to answer.

1? 2? 3?
How many other PP's have you purchased before getting offered Aquanaut?

I had no PP purchase history at the AD, but was a long-time customer, and it was in late 2014 so there was inventory in Singapore. Cortina and Hour Glass both had Aquanauts in their shop windows.

Got my first Patek - 5167 steel bracelet - just by emailing all the stores in Switzerland a week before my trip there, there was one available and I went and bought it. Zero history. This was in December 2016.

One 5196G and one 5140G. One of the ADs on Orchard Road. Both purchased in 2019. No other purchase history in Singapore. Offered to be placed on list for Aquanaut/Nautilus, I declined as I have them already.

ZERO. It's about the relationship

Just saw this. Hobby losses are not deductible against other income only against any gains in that particular hobby. On the other hand net hobby gains are taxable. Oh well.
